Senior UX/UI Designer

Opportunity for an experienced UX/UI specialist to join an exciting early-stage PropTech start-up based in central London

About PRODA

At PRODA (www.proda.ai), we are harnessing the power of machine learning to solve core data processing pain points in the real estate industry. We believe that unstructured data is a key barrier to digital transformation in this space.

Our software automates property data capture and standardisation. This enhances the efficiency of analysis and reporting tasks for real estate professionals, and helps them to unlock the true value of their data.

The role

We are looking for an experienced UX/UI designer to manage the process of upgrading the design, UI and user experience for the PRODA web app. The software is undergoing beta testing, and we need a dynamic, fast-moving designer to optimise the user journey for the full product release and beyond.

The ideal candidate will have deep understanding of UX design principles and research methods, particularly in relation to apps. In this role, you will work closely with the Chief Product Officer, the software development team, and PRODA’s users.

  • This is a permanent, full-time role. The core hours are 9AM–6PM Monday–Friday.

  • Salary: £40–55k p/a + equity options, depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

  • You will assess the existing design of the web app and identify priorities for improvement.

  • You will perform usability testing directly with clients to understand user needs.

  • You will develop wire-frames, user and process flows, and functional specifications.

  • You will take ownership of the site's design and user experience, creating a framework and design programme to give the product a consistent feel throughout.

Skills and experience

  • Advanced design skills and understanding of UX design principles and research methods.

  • Experience with high fidelity prototyping software.

  • Keen attention to detail.

  • Enthusiasm to work as part of a small startup team.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work closely and collaboratively with clients.
